During disasters, people and animals are often displaced. Since employees may lack the means of taking care of their pets during a disaster, this can prevent employees from reporting to work.
To address this callenge, the attached document is a sample plan for coordinating an on-site employee animal shelter. Since the shelter locations are staffed and stocked, they can be better solutions than county shelters.
