CHA Calls for Presentations for Disaster Planning Conference
Submission deadline is April 8

Hospital and health system representatives are invited to submit a presentation abstract for CHA’s 2016 Disaster Planning for California Hospitals conference, taking place Sept. 19–21 in Sacramento. The conference is a unique opportunity for members to share their emergency preparedness knowledge, innovative programs, tools and lessons learned with other member hospitals. The conference is expected to bring together more than 700 hospital emergency preparedness coordinators, hospital administrators, CNOs, EMS personnel and public health officials.

“Every year, our conference presenters demonstrate the remarkable efforts hospitals are making to advance disaster preparedness,” said Cheri Hummel, CHA vice president emergency management and facilities. “When we share new ideas and resources, as well as experiences, we can all benefit from better prepared hospitals and communities.”

Presentation submissions will be reviewed by the conference committee and considered for pre-conference workshop, plenary and breakout sessions. The submission deadline is April 8. For more information and to submit an application, visit www.calhospital.org/disaster-planning.
