To ensure eligibility for the free program, hospitals must have registered with MCN by June 30, 2009. Hospitals who have registered with MCN but who have not ordered materials have until August 31, 2009 to do so. After that time, registered hospitals forfeit their participation in the program. Registered hospitals are responsible for verifying their registration and subscriptions by checking on the registered hospital list (last updated June 30, 2009.)

If you believe that your hospital has enrolled and your facility is not on the listing, please attempt to sign in to MCN Policy Library to test the subscription (do not sign into any other MCN Healthcare site). If you cannot sign in to the MCN policy manual site, then you will need to complete your subscription by following the CHA Subscription Instructions.

If your hospital already has a user name and password, enter it under “New Registration”. If the user name and password is lost or unknown, please call MCN Customer service to reset the password and complete the subscription process.

Federal HPP grant funds have been used to enter in to agreement with MCN Healthcare for California hospitals to provide:

• A three‐year subscription to their Emergency Management and Bioterrorism Manual (no cost to hospital)
• A three‐year subscription to their Pandemic Influenza Guide (no cost to hospital)
• MCN email notification regarding updates to the Manuals and any supporting documentation provided by the Program
• Customer support services to assist with use of the MCN Healthcare website and services
• A forty percent (40%) discount to California hospitals on other MCN online manuals during the three‐year subscription period (paid separately by the hospital). After the three‐year subscription period, you may renew existing manual subscriptions at a forty percent (40%) discount off list price and continue to purchase new online manual subscriptions from MCN at a twenty‐five percent (25%) discount.
